Have you ever been motivated to organize your entire house, but then went to The Container Store and saw how much that would actually cost?
Honestly, you’re not alone. When I first set out on my organizing journey, I was taken aback by how expensive some of those products could be! Of course, organizing is an investment that will truly save you time and money in the end. However, if you just can’t bear the thought of putting up a couple hundred bucks per room right now, I’m here to help.
The Container Store does have affordable organizing products, I promise! Let me shine a light on five of my favorites for you.
The Container Store’s multi-purpose bins are rightfully named – there’s no limit to how you can use them! They come in multiple different sizes and are especially great to organize papers in your home office or folders for virtual school, but they really can be used anywhere. Toss them in pantries, linen closets, under the sink – you name it! The best part? They’re only $4-$7 each.
When I think “affordable organizing products,” this is one of the items that always comes to mind. These plastic storge bins are also multi-purpose, but find me using them in pantries and laundry rooms the most! The dip in the side gives you a clear view of your belongings while still keeping them contained, and the handles allow for easy access. There’s plenty of sizes available and they run between $3 and $6 a piece!
Got a junk drawer you’re dying to organize but don’t know where to start? Look no further than the iDesign Linus Shallow Drawer Organizers sold at The Container Store. These are really fun to play Tetris with, and they totally transform your drawers by giving every single item its own little home! They’re about $4-$8 each, meaning you can have the drawer of your dreams for around $20-$30!
If you’re looking to up your storage game but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg, Sterilite is your brand. These are awesome for storing holiday décor, electrical cords, your kids’ basketballs and footballs, and so on. They latch closed, making them a great option for inside or outside storage, and they’re only $10-$12 each.
Are you fed up with all those board games taking up precious space in your home? Then you need the holy grail of affordable organizing products from The Container Store – the zippered vinyl and mesh pouches! Dump all game contents into these and then cut out the game logo and stick it to the outside. For only $2-$4 each, you’ve got contained board games that can be nicely filed away.
While The Container Store is my happy place, it’s definitely not my wallet’s! However, I guarantee you there’s some amazing, affordable finds in there that can upgrade your home without breaking the bank.
